CBVA are proud to announce the provision of a management and rentals service for it’s clients. Services include: General Management, Security Services/Monitoring, Laundry & Cleaning, Insurance Services.

Steve Hayward started Costa Blanca Villas and Apartments in 1996 with a background of UK Property Management, Property Sales and Financial Services. Ten years later he operates this small but personal business from offices in Javea (Alicante – Spain) and Yeovil (Somerset – UK) and serves Javea and the surrounding towns, villages and Costa Blanca coastline of about 150 miles. He is very ably assisted by staff in UK and Spain, along with professionals such as Solicitors, Banks, Translators, and Notary.

In addition to membership of two professional bodies, CBVA operates under a strict code of practice in order to provide an ethical and professional service to it’s clients. All this should provide peace of mind to Property owners that we strive to provide them with the best quality service.

At Costa Blanca Villas and Apartments we understand the need for careful and secure management of clients property. All lettings are only allowed to proceed when full payment, together with a damage deposit is received. A property statement of condition and inventory is taken as a matter of course and this is checked on departure of the letter, and any necessary adjustments made. Laundry and cleaning services are provided by experienced professional cleaners. Any maintenance required to the property is carried out by tradesmen who are legally qualified, licensed, and resident here in Spain.

In the case of any maintenance or repairs being required during the course of the management period, an assessment will be made and then the owner will be notified of the options available and the likely costs.

A letting fee is charged and is payable by deduction from rent, as is the ongoing management charge, which is usually calculated as a percentage of the full months rent. A charge is also made for re-letting the property.

All charges are subject to IVA at 16%

We will do our best to manage your property efficiently and effectively and to see that it is properly looked after, however, we cannot be responsible or liable for the actions of letters, or their failure to pay the rent.

It is possible to insure many of the risks inherent in letting property and a number of insurance companies offer a variety of specialist cover.

At CBVA we contact preferred tradesmen who we know and trust. In the event of an owner not wishing us to use our preferred contractors we accept no responsibility for the efficiency or quality of their workmanship.

In the event of an extreme emergency we reserve our right to order repairs above €250 without consulting the owner.
